About microgravity simulators
Currently, Verne has available microgravity simulators in the category of «clinostats» or «clinorators». Clinostats are devics used for biological research to simulate space microgravity conditions or the impact of gravity in living organisms.
Clinostats can be used to study microgravity, gravitropism, plant growth in space, cellular biology and even organois and tumors.
Meet Phobos
Phobos is our microgravity simulator focused on research. It has couplers to adapt different kins of consumables, such as petri dishes, conic tubes of 15 or 50 mL and microtubes of 1 or 2 mL. We have two models: Basic Phobos and Phobos Plus. The latter has the capacity to add inclination to allow for simulation of lunar and Mars gravities.
Meet Deimos
Deimos is the perfect model to start exploring the world of simulated microgravity. It has capacity for microtubes of 1.5 o 2mL, and space for more than 130 samples at the same time, as well as two units of experimentation and one for control samples.
Meet Ceres
Ceres is a small-scale microgravity simulator aimed for education at all ages. Includes two petri dishes to start an experiment with bean seeds and compare their growth with normal gravity and simulated microgravity. A great experience to learn at home!
